1 times table
The 1 times table, from 1 × 1 to 1 × 10, and tips to remember it.
- 1 × 1 = 1
- 1 × 2 = 2
- 1 × 3 = 3
- 1 × 4 = 4
- 1 × 5 = 5
- 1 × 6 = 6
- 1 × 7 = 7
- 1 × 8 = 8
- 1 × 9 = 9
- 1 × 10 = 10
Tips
- Multiplying by 1 doesn’t change the number: 1 × 8 = 8, and 7 × 1 = 7.
- It’s in every other table: the first line of each table is the number itself.
Out of order
Once you can recite the table in order, quiz yourself at random: 1 × 6, 1 × 9, 1 × 4… That’s how it’s used in mental math. The Multiplication mode trains it as you play, alone or with a friend.
