Countdown
A starting number, 100 at first then 200, 500 and 1000 as the levels go, and then only subtractions. At the end, how much is left? The mode to practice subtracting and crossing tens, like giving change.
How to play
A starting number (100 at first, then bigger and bigger), then only subtractions. How much is left?
Example
100 − 7 − 4 − 9 = 80
Tips
- Add up what's taken away, then subtract it all at the end: 7 + 4 + 9 = 20, and 100 − 20 = 80.
- Or go through the ten: 93 − 4 is 93 − 3 − 1.
- The result never goes below zero: a negative answer is always wrong.
Solo or against someone
Solo, go as far as you can: the first mistake ends the game. Against someone, you play the same levels as your opponent: if you're the only one with the right answer, you win. All the rules
